Well? What do you think? Will it live up to the hype or go down like a kamakazy in WWII? Lets hear what you have to say.

From the demo's and such, it looks a-fucking-mazing. It's just amaznig how far graphics have come along. Same thing with physics. When you first watch the pistol shoot at the board of wood, that's just... wow.

It will definitely live up to all reasonable expectations, but I think people will need a very decent cpu & videocard to experience the full range of physical and graphical effects

Other than that I think the game is going to kick some major bootay! I can't wait till September so I can go get it. Unless VALVe wants to release it early. Which I would certainly be liking such a move.

Doubtfully. The words "Valve" and "Early" go together as well as "Bush" and "Genius".

Uhh, pardon me for being ridiculously misinformed, but could I get a link to the HL2 demo from E3? Thanks.

Check out this great official Half-Life 2 teaser video, or better yet, download this massive Half-Life 2 gameplay video, which is nearly 600MB and 25 minutes of incredible Half-Life 2 footage from a private E3 demo. Amazing stuff!
Source: Planet Half-Life -> Half-Life 2Be prepared to wait in line. And get mad at annoying geeks who don't shutup no matter how many times you play the movie.

Yea, it's great all right. My dad walked by when I was watching it and asked what movie it was. I told him it was a preview of an upcoming game and he didn't believe it until he came closer.

Yeah I watched it last night... I was already going to eventually pick up HL2, but now I think i'm gonna go ahead and pre-order it...
That whole delivered to my house on day of release thing is pretty damned cool.
