Yeah, but just as I was about to reply the Steam menu popped up.
I just pre-ordered. Was $35 or so after taxes (even tho I selected uk and aren't subject to us taxes?)

I must say, I got a lil giddy when I saw it pop up... but I think I'll wait for the retail version as well... too many what ifs... u know steam will be down for 2 days when it's released cuz of dos attacks and someone has probably already hooked into vulva's "secure" server and will steal cc info for a few days.... I'd prefer to pay the extra $10 for a secure piece of mind...

I don't get it will it just load it onto ur comp or will u be shipped it cause if it just loaded onto ur comp that would suck because u wouldn' get the CD and if somehow ur comp got fucked up and everything was deleated u'd have to dl i from Steam again and pay again

Once you have it just write it down somewhere, in the bizzare case your computer does go fubar, then just find that lil piece of paper, and enter it in again.

2) It pre-loads, if you get the Boxed version you're just basically paying for a CD-key, the install program will already have all the content needed.

With the steam version you don't get a cdkey.
It is just added to your steamid

And if you do fubar your computer, you wouldn't be daft enough to use an email and password that you would forget would you?
