Skin folders are buggy and i need help

I know how to extract skins and place them in the proper folder, but when i put the sounds for the weapon in the steam/steamapps/counterstrike/cs/sounds folder they are win amp format and in game for my usp the custom sound isnt there; its the default one, and for my knife its also the default one. what am i doing wrong and can any one help me?

my sound weapons folder is not there, and is one of the reasons im aking for help. so how do i fix that.

and i also dont have a sprites/weapons folder aswell

i fixed the problem; i had to create a new weapons folder. pretty simple i guess

hey timmyone i have the same problem can u tell me what to do?

if there isnt a weapons folder in your sounds folder then cs won't register that the extra or custom sounds are there. Same thing for your sprites and model/player folder.
