I just updated my Video drivers for my new card and suddenly OpenGL doesn't work. It worked fine with the older drivers (same card) but now it went poof after updating the drivers.
System Specs:
OS:Windows XP Build 2600 (no service packs)
Vid Card:ATI Radeon 9600xt (AGP with 128Mb)
RAM:1Gb Samsung
Processors: 2 AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (yes, they work as MP for me due to a modification and no I've never had a problem with it before)
Even with the older drivers I was only averaging about 70 fps in CS 1.6. I know this card can do better than that. I have an old Nvidia PCI card that ran CS with max fps. Now I get the Video mode not supported message whenever I try to run OpenGL. I've copied the gl.dll from my system32 folder in the cstrike\gfx folder and still get it. My current drivers are:
rad_w2kxp_omega_2605a
downloaded from www.omegadrivers.net
I've also tried
wxp-w2k-catalyst-8-10-050119a-020581c
downloaded from ati.com
Any suggestions?
