This now marks the third time that the Fallout 3 DLC, The Pitt, has been "released" on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Hopefully, as the old adage goes, the third time is, indeed, the charm.
A new version of The Pitt is up on Xbox LIVE. If you’re experiencing crashes when trying to access content on The Pitt, delete the content off your hard drive and re-download. If you haven’t experienced any issues with freezing, there’s no need to re-download.
You can always purchase The Pitt for the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3, by hitting up the web-based Live Marketplace (http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/offers/0ccf000d-0000-4000-8000-0000425307d5?cid=SLink). If you have already downloaded The Pitt but need to redownload it due to freezing issues, hit the jump for instructions on how to do just that.<!--more-->
Sign in to Xbox LIVE then press the guide button
Go to Settings->System Settings->Memory.
From here, scroll down to Fallout 3 and press A.
Select Fallout 3: The Pitt (Marketplace Content) press A then choose Delete, then Yes to Delete.
After this, you should be able to re-download The Pitt at no extra charge.
