Once again, a few interesting hidden items were found within the Team Fortress 2 files after tonight's War update.

First up is the Spy's flame resistant suit (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1072531) that was tucked away in the SDK. The new suit has been undergoing testing within the semi-closed beta for Team Fortress 2.

Secondly, an "intelligent" bot was added to Team Fortress 2 tonight. According to Valve's Mike Booth, the bots are currently being tested (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1072052) and for the moment they only work properly on King of the Hill maps.

We're beta testing the TFBots with this release.

They only "understand" the King of the Hill mode at the moment (koth_viaduct, koth_sawmill, and koth_nucleus in particular).

To test out the bots use the console command tf_bot_add and see how it goes. At present there is also no AI for Spy or Scout bots yet.

Anything else tucked away in the latest update that wasn't announced?

NO! Please god no bots.. bots are the number one reason why servers go from bad to worse.. sooner or later all you'll see is servers using fakemod and have god damn bots playing when people connect. It'll be a worse disaster than CS1.6/CS:S.
