Halo: Reach Launches

It's not midnight on the East Coast and that means Halo: Reach has officially launched!

Anybody out there pick it up at a midnight launch, or even get it before today? If so, feel free to share your thoughts on the game. Do try to avoid spoilers where possible if talking about the game's single-player.

It's not midnight? I could've sworn it was...

I bought an Xbox to play Halo. I played Halo 1, Halo 2, and started Halo 3. It was pretty and stuff but I wasn't really getting into the story anymore. I'll go back and play it eventually. I liked the story in 1, and 2 was okay but started to leave a lot of stuff unexplained, and 3 wasn't resolving anything. What order should I go in after 3? I haven't really been following along very well, but I hear a lot about it so I thought I'd look into it.

Ugh I have to wait until after 5 when I get off work to pick it up! Freakin BestBuy by me doesn't do midnight releases and I hate using Gamestop.

I have one of the original 360 and I noticed that compared to my friends new version one, mine lags at points sometimes pretty bad and glitches with graphics. I think they really overkilled on the graphics for the old version of the 360. My friend's new 360 runs it extremely smoothly and no issues :(.
