My friend and I were flying a transport chopper alone. As he was touching down near a flag I heard him say "APC to your left". I look at it is a friendly so I don't fire. The APC started firing on us.
I am thinking "What's this guy's problem?" when I look at the chopper graphic. My friend (piloting) was red and I was still green.
When the chopper blew up the APC got a normal kill and a teamkill and my friend was now on the other side.
This made me wonder if maybe the "I shot you because you were red" bug has something to do with the game trying to auto balance while still alive.
