I have a 17" Liquid Video LCD and it didn't come with a driver CD so its on MS Plug&Play which holds it back. Now i went to the website (www.orbyxelectronics.com) and downloaded the driver, but I have no clue what to do with it. It's an ICC Profile, whatever that is. Do I have to put it somewhere or what? When I just double click it, it asks me what program I want to run it with or find the program from the web.

What you got there is nothing more then a color profile bud.

(International Color Consortium)

I doubt its "holding your monitor back".

I did a little poking around and ICC's are most likely used for printers not mintors.

What do i do then? My monitor can't handle more than 75 refresh rate and even then it hurts my eyes cuz it's hard to read. That's the only file it gave me when I d/l the driver from the website.

That means your monitor doesn't support over a 75Hz refresh, as most LCDs do not. Some support 80-85Hz on lower resolutions, but if you're running 1280x1024 then most only support 75hz. And what do you mean "hard to read"? It shouldn't be hard to read at all. My ViewSonic is 1280x1024@75Hz, and its a thing of beauty.

Yes I have it on 1280x1024 but i dunno why but when i put it on 75 from 60 its like making it worse. Maybe I'm just used to the 60.

Make sure your video settings dont' have anything goofy like "Alternate pixel center" turned on, or that any overlays are on, and that Vsync is off.

I would wait, it maybe something with the Onboard Graphics then. Wish I could help, but I don't even have the option of onboard graphics, so I can't give you a walk through. Most likely none of the things I suggested are supported by the onboard graphics anyways.
