I've had enough! I've reinstalled, pb-ed, wiped clean drivers and reinstalled catalysts and omega drivers, ripped out soundcards.. till i'm blue in the face. Now all i get is a frozen mouse pointer on the spawn screen. I get this now from running BF2 v1.0 - straight from a clean install and on single player.
I'm going on holiday for two weeks and if EA doesn't address this mass COD/Freezing problems by the time i get back i'm buying a whole new rig.
What bugs me is the lack of EA support on this. Even 'we haven't a clue but we're looking into it. Perhaps you could send us your specs.' would help but nooo. The other thing i find weird is that the support websites differ in the their detail from the usa, uk and aussie sites. Er? that makes no sense. Official support should be blanket coverage. Not that there's anything worth reading there.
