I have a PS3, but I don't play it much.... I prefer the computer :D



Anyone here got a PS3? If yeah, what do you like about it? What don't you?

Why would you waste money on a PS3 when its just gonna sit around......If I would want to buy a PS3 I would buy it when GTA IV comes out. By the way I have a 360

i have a PS3! and i love it! :D its damn good!

What i like:
-Buddy list
-Playstation Store
-How the games are made
-The possibilities

yeah.. and much more!

I kinda left the whole console thing a year after the PS2 was released, I just think theye are a little dull (as in boring), I know now that more and more things are becoming possible on consoles such as online multiplayer capabilities just I believe with a PC game you can do so much more :D.

So nope I dont have a PS3 nor do I really intend on getting one, although as Venomous Viper the release of GTA IV may change things :P.

Don't have any consoles (but hopefully i will get a 360 for my birthday), just my iMac Intel Core 2 Duo.

eww consoles! how can you play a FPS game with a controller??? You get robot movement lol.

Driving games are good though

I may buy the PS3 but when it comes down in price as its too pricey.

im writing from my very own PS3 now. there is a 2.0 firmware comming soon, it will include most things you missed from the release.

People seem to dismiss the ps3 far to quickly simply because of its heavy pricetag and perhaps limited list of exclusives. Realistically it is a very good console and If I was on a higher wage I'd go for one :p. It really hasn't sold well at all in Australia, I don't know about internationally but it has really done poorly over here unfortunately.

I'm not as much of a fan of console games as I used to be but I still find them fun for multiplayer, which is why I'm eagerly awaiting the next Super Smash Bros game.

I've got a Nintendo Wii and have to admit, there are not nearly enough decent titles as of yet and I barely play it.

the PS3 hasn't sold so good in Norway either. probably because its price. PC may have more abbilities, but the PS3 is more.. yeah.. PS itself isent so nerdy. when family come and see you sitting on the pc its like "uh.. hey?". you feel really dumb. but sitting in the couch, playing ps3 its like "hello there! :D" i know this sounds dumb. but think about it. also, consoles is more social itself. having a lan party or playing online, just isent the same as inviting a couple of friends home and play some car games.

Way too much money, and barely any games!

I am sure that they will come out with some better games in the near future, but right now the PS3 is not worth it. Plus the PC pwns any console anyday...

Yeah... the PC is much better, the only way a consol could be better is teh size. I mean some PCs are pretty big n heavy, the consols isnt... I think the pc is for games like BF series, CoD series, CSS, 1.6 all thoose nice FPS-games... (Screw games like star craft or war craft). The consol is for games like GTA n thoose kinda games... =)

How many good games were their for the PS3 that everyone was hyped to get their hands on? Oh yeah, none. Maybe Resistance, but that was it.

I'm a PC gamer now, but if I were to get a console again, it would be an Xbox360. It has been out longer than the PS3, and developers are getting quite good at coding for it/maximizing its power. And as much as people hate Microsoft for some of the things they do, Sony are no angels either, behind the scenes.

If someone wants a total home entertainment unit, then I could see a case for the PS3, but for gaming only, Xbox360.

Just spent £355 on a WII for the boys today, so later when they are in bed i will be testing it out of course.
Well it would be a shame if they where to open it on christmas day to find out its faulty.
I'd love to have a PS3 aswell just will have to wait a while longer for that one. i already have a 360, ps2's, gameboy advance's mega drive, snes and a couple of PC's.
