When i first heard that Call of Duty was moving to Modern Warfare, I was kinda disappointed. I loved the first one and UO, and kinda liked 2.

I get a pre-Battlefield feeling from the trailer, but obviously with the next gen graphics. If it's half as successful as BF, it'd be a huge plus and a worthwhile venture for Infinity Ward and Activision.

Also, I swear i saw a submarine in there somewhere. That better be playable!

I love the trailer, it reminds me of BF2: Modern Combat.

It seems to look like it might take place in the area of Kazahkstan or something, with the mix between arabic and russian stuff. Also, it suggests there is some sort of MEC-like thing, because in several scenes, theres this flag that looks like a red flag with two swords crossed

Yea I think that symbol was in command in conquer generals for the Coalletion or w/e.

when i first saw the trailer and realized, this is modern warfare!! i was supprised and glad. ive never liked the WW1/2 theme anyway (ok.. i did.. but modern is better). when i saw the night vision helicopter/plane gun thing, i was amazed! ive always wanted to be on one of those missions! looking at running terrorist in night vision, just waiting for the order to fire at will. and shoot those terrorists! mmm mmm! sounds like heaven to me! who else liked that?

It's just going to be very different gameplay if they do utilize all modern features....

WWII had a large amount of troops and major head-on attacks... that's not how modern warfare is anymore, so we'll have to see

In comparison to other trailers, I was really impressed with the cinematics shown, It's visuals really do look as though they're something special.

I think they made some steps back with cod2, because of the missing running and deployable mgs.
