Patch Update help

So here I am, trying to update from 1.1 to 1.3

I go to the EA site, click the 400MB dowload, download it, unzip and compress and all that good stuff.

And then I click on the BF2_Full 1.3 setup icon, to Install it, and my mouse comes up with the hourglass thing meaning its loading, so its "loading" for like 10 seconds and nothing happens:(

Have you tried any other sites? There is more than 1 place to download the file from:

There shouldn't be anything you need to unzip, didn't it come as an executable?

depends on the site you get the patch from, eg Gamershell zips all its patches

edit, patching does take sometime perhaps try running it & leave it for 10mins to see if its moved then,

as I recall - it does appear to do nothing for some time
and I have 4gb ram !
so, try again, and wait a few minutes
