Well today, just playing on Sharqi, I witnessed a few things I've never seen before. At the start of the round, a usmc soldier got onto the TOW near Hotel, and could ALWAYS hit the MEC chopper as it was taking off. I also seen an MEC soldier on the IGLA near survelliance post, hitting the USMC chopper as it is taking off. I've seen things like this on Gulf Of Oman also, where the Essex, aimed in a specific spot, can hit things on the land.
I'm sure there are LOADS of other things alike to this in BF2. A thing like this would be parking a helicopter on a hill overlook the carrier on dragon valley, to continuously pound it with TV missiles. Well I think you get the picture, could anyone show us how to do this? A few screenies? I would absolutely love to know, and I know many other people would also.

i'll tell you. you practice at shooting a heli with TOW and then you learn how to use TV missles and park a heli so you shoot the carrier on dragon vally and most of the essix you just aim at a flag would be my guess shoot and hope it hits.....

There are already Threads out there about the TOWs on Sharqui, from the one at hotel yuo can hit the USMC AND teh MEC chopper. I often times hit the USMC one if I see it there and I'm nearby. the best advice I can give is too search the forums for TOW sharqi or something like that.

As for shooting things on the carrier with a tank from the mainland, go onto an empty server, be commander, set the zoom to full (overhead view) and shoot away, after you shoot, check your map and see if you hit, adjust accordingly, once you do hit, mark where the aimer had been. (don't forget about the recoil)

With practice.. I can manage to hit both the USMC + MEC choppers with ease.
BUT... I went into a sharqi server and tried it, and it just doesn't seem to work. (Shooting at the MEC chopper) How can I know when it's spawned/taking off? I tried using the map but the problem is with people holding down E, they get it so quick that it doesn't appear on the map?
Any help would be great!
