The guys over at Game Trailers (http://www.gametrailers.com/) have recently posted up a new video interview with a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare developer that covers the multiplayer aspects of the game. Included in the video is a lot of information on the different game modes and the perks included in the multiplayer experience. We get to learn about some future perks we will be hearing about including Juggernaut, which gives the player a health boost, as well as others that include faster reload and increased firing rates. The video is definitely worth checking out so enjoy!

These perks seem they are going to make the multiplayer less realistic and more arcade, which is absolutly fine with me .. but it will result in a lot of people complaining via VOIP and chat calling people hacks when its actually perks. Hmm, I hope it works out well

Not keen on the idea of perks myself giving advantages to more experianced players is a bad idea IMO if their more experianced they dont need any other advantages over the enemy IMO, also as mentioned it takes away a bit nore of the realisam.

Perks will likely be fully adjustable by server admins. So clans can turn them on or off to their tastes. As for advantages, they are fairly easy to earn - it's not like BF2 where you have to play for months to get a new gun. Both newer and experienced players will be able to get them relatively easily. They will help your game, to be sure, but they won't make you Superman while playing.
