MyInternetServices' (http://www.myinternetservices.com/) and Total Call of Duty 4's (http://www.totalairborne.com/) Artem a.k.a "Spetsnaz" & Greg a.k.a "Napoleon" recently attended a preview event for a chance to play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. As promised, we have our very own preview for you guys to check out written by Spetsnaz. Here's the intro to the article to get you started:

MyInternetServices.com & TotalCOD4 staff had the pleasure of traveling to Infinity Ward, developer of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, to learn more about the highly anticipated first person shooter. We were given all of the information we wanted on a silver platter – no secrets, just the way we like it.

To start, we’ll save you the trouble and give you our thoughts right off the bat – Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is innovative in both presentation and game play. Everything that you enjoyed about Call of Duty 2 is either exactly the way it was or is improved upon. In other words, we loved it. We loved it so much that plans are already on the way for a Call of Duty 4 league and tournament on TotalGamingLeague.com. We’ll fill you in on that in the coming months though – on to the game! Remember, what we saw at Infinity Ward was Pre-Alpha of the game, meaning they still haven’t hit the most rigid testing process. The game experience could significantly change upon release and the things we didn’t like could ultimately go away without anyone saying a word.

Really nice article. :)

Richard Kriegler explained that many of today’s games overuse the latest effects to the point where the games look more surreal then the do realistic (which is counter productive, considering that the effects were originally devised to make the games look more realistic).

Readin this I had to think of the AA in the first Level of CoD with the uber-explosion. :D
