hey all just got my new ati x850 xt platinum editition from my friend and it is a beast!!! i get around 60-70 fps all the time compared to my 20-30fps with my x1600 but for some reason my computer will just restart itself for some reason only when i am playing bf2? i made sure the card isnt overheating because i bought some new fans and put a couple of heatsinks on my card and put a new one on my cpu

amd athlon 64 3400+2.21ghz
1.5gigs of ram
ati x850xt PE 256 mb (agp)
core: 585mhz
memory:615mhz x2

also what could i get for my old x1600 pro 512mb pcie?(powercolor):confused:

Ummm, just because you put all that stuff in doesnt mean sh!t. Have you actually checked the temps of your card and proc?

Check temps and re-seat your graphics card.

is VPU recovery enabled? IF so then disable it from the ati controlpanel.

yea theres also ram temps and hard drive temps and even with all those fans, u cann still overheat
