The water looks like it's pre-made to have those effects and whatnot, it looks like some sort of model with a texture map on it.

I'm pretty sure it's just a brush. If you've played Call of Duty (1), look at the water on mp_ship.

a. I doubt it is a model.

b. The engine IW is using, is nothing like the Battlefield's engine. Where there is a sea level and water on every map, whether the sea level is set too far below to affect players or not, it's there.

c. Do you even have a clue what I was talking about?

i have to say taht the water doesn't really looks realistic here. Although its just a still i can't really say much about it, but where are the water drops...the foam tips on the waves?....minus point here

Yeah I agree. Crysis has much better water :(.
