I'm currently downloading the beta. I'm at 10%

It's pretty fun once you get the hang of it. Some of the challenges are a lot to do. One of them is 100 headshots with a sniper rifle. And all you get is a new camo pattern.

Why did you sign up for the Beta if you don't have an Xbox360? Did you think you were getting one early?

IW actually sent out e-mails to some people who didn't actually enter the first wave lottery. This may be how he got the key

yeah its kinda weird i would have thought a pc beta would make more sense seeing as there more chance for random bugs what with all pcs being different

From the Dev Team, this Beta wasn't really designed to look for "regular" bugs; it was to test the capability/traffic of so many users specifically on Xbox Live servers before launch.

Although PC has its own issues, and in a perfect world should have a Beta as well, the Xbox one took priority. We don't yet know what's coming for PC, other than a demo for sure, but something "special" was announced by IW a few weeks ago. Stay tuned.

I would give cod4 pc mp beta a go if one came out but i heard a friend say the console cod4 mp beta was nothing special or inovative, he said it was fun but been there done that kind of thing, nothing new, he says the demo was all hyped up, same old same old thing, remember, his words not mine. I'm waiting on a cod4 pc sp demo tbh.

Yeah, thats kinda how I got in. I sent in the e-mail 25 1/2 hours after the lotto which would be 1 1/2 hours after the supposed lotto was over. I know MANY sent in e-mails before me and didn't get in but I did.

Maybe it's because I've been a longtime member on COD website ? Who knows

I didn't. I just got an email. I'm a Charlie Oscar Delta member. I didn't sign up for the beta. That's all I know.

I'm in my gamer tag is xX68stangXx This is honestly the best game I have played in a long time and it is only a beta. The fullversion is going to have so much more. Honestly, this game is going to be HUGE and be around for a LONG time.

That's the same thought for pretty much every gaming franchise. Although it is my own opinion, your friend must've not played for very long, because there are a LOT of features not displayed in previous CoD games or other FPS games.
