The guys from PMods (http://www.pmods.net/) have recently had an interview with a few of the members of the Eve of Destruction (http://www.eodmod.com/forum/portal.php) mod. Here's a portion from the article as well as some new screens:
[Pmods]Wraxe: After briefly converting to BFV, the mod was converted to BF2. Did you think of that conversion as a constraint or as a new productive run-up?
[EoD]Spicy: Tough question, but i think the whole idea was to bring the mod to the new engine with some old stuff and some new stuff.
[EoD]taichi: BF2 does allow for more possibilities, but at the same time, the engine being updated constantly (like BF2142 for example) does make it hard for modders to keep up with the latest engines but overall, the better the engine, the better the mod will be.
