Activision (http://www.activision.com/) has published a new press release today that features details on the collector's edition for the game. Here's what they had to say:

Santa Monica, CA – Sept. 11, 2007 – Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that a Limited Collector’s Edition of Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows® PC will begin deployment on November 5 as part of the worldwide launch of the most intense and cinematic action game ever. Each Limited Collector’s Edition includes a special hardcover book featuring exclusive concepts, never-before-seen imagery and final artwork from the award-winning team that details the breath-taking action from the soldier to the satellite.

The Xbox 360 edition also takes gamers behind-the-scenes with a bonus DVD containing more than four hours of interviews and features, an exclusive documentary exploring the British S.A.S from World War II to modern day, and a series of “making of” vignettes highlighting Infinity Ward’s research, technology and story development for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. For Windows PC fans, in addition to the hardcover art book, the Limited Collector’s Edition for PC will include a digital copy of the BradyGAMES Official Strategy Guide. The strategy guide provides players with a detailed single-player walkthrough, top-down maps, multiplayer strategies, weapon load-outs, and numerous other tips for the hardcore soldier.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Xbox 360™, Windows® PC and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system will begin deployment on Tuesday, November 5, 2007 and has been rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB for Intense Violence, Strong Language, Blood and Gore. The game will also be available for and Nintendo DS™ and has been rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB for Teen for Blood and Violence.

Sounds like those who purchase the collector's edition will definitely be in for some added treats.

I would order the LE if I knew what the bleeding system requirements were. It'd be a waste to buy it and not be able to play.

Hrhr, indeed. Just bad when you get in on christmass and it falls into the snow...then you would have to wait for the snow melting away...

Yes, I know. But limited could mean 1000copies or 20000copies.
