SP mainly because I've always loved the CoD SP.
I can still remember the first time playing Stalingrad/Red Square in CoD1. It was epic :D.

I always play singleplayer before multiplayer. The Call of Duty campaigns have always been fun. Even now, they're still fun.

EA has nothing to do with the Call of Duty series. It's Activision and Infinity Ward. EA is not behind PunkBuster, Even Balance is.

Play the singleplayer campaign for Call of Duty on the PC. Console FPS gaming just isn't up to par with PC FPS's.

I always play through the entire SP campaign once first, to get the feel of the game and the controls, then head to MP. I'll usually resurrect the SP and play through it again 6 months or a year down the road. I still do this every year or so with the COD/UO/2 games.

Well, for me, I'm gonna play 1 SP mission to get a feel for the game, THEN I'm gonna play some MP.
So basically, after i complete ONE SP mission, I will play MP for a while. Then go do one more SP mission, then play MP and so on.....

I'll do my usual - beat SP on hardest difficulty then go MP.

That's what I did with COD2, finished it in 5 days xD I love vacation!
Well i think i will play and own SP blindfolded and then practice a bit of MP with eyesight until i'm good enough to own blind folded again.

I said usually, my bad, bad way to phrase it.
I do play sp, but not until months of multiplayer, and I am starting to get board of a game.
I played one of the cod single players, cant remember, what ever one was the first one on the 360, (played it on pc but I first saw it on 360). And it did kick ***, I loved the Russian part, especially when you had to go in and demo the building, then there was another where you had to defend against an assault and there were snipers and tanks, it was epic.
But I played mp first, I just like playing against real people.

Hey I had a question about multiplayer, kinda off topic though.
Will the names be like in COD2 where you can change it whenever you want?
And will you be aloud to have the same name as somebody else...?
Also, I changed my mind, screw SP it won't help at all realy, unless it's to get used to the low recoil, then be screwed when MP is out. So I'm going to start MP first, not just for what I said before, but it's more fun to play the hard way.

You mean changing your in game name? Mostly likely, yes you will be able to. Doubt that you can have the same name as someone else because of *stats/ranks*...

Everybody is different, but when I play Bf2142 I play it like a real war with my friends and with tactics, no bunnyhoping and dolphin diving around corners, and when you play it like that it's alot alot alot of fun and the other BF2 vet noobs dont stand a chance, you get good KDs and have lots of fun.
So sorry to disagree on you about that.
But I love that game, just like I'll love COD4!

SP serves as a training ground to get familiar with all the controls of the game. Once I get a good feel in SP, then I will head on into MP.
Myself and my clanmates have been waiting for this game awhile now.
Hope to see guys on our servers too.

Lol, you don't have to apologize. I just played 2142 to death for 3-4 months after release, then it got boring to me. I definitely liked the more infantry based combat as compared to BF2 though.
first gonna play the whole sp game on normal, than the whole on veteran, than earn all singleplayer achivements (360) then multiplayer/replay sp

I can't believe how well done the COD missions ae in MP, I love em so much.
As I said I'd start with MP, but later, when I'm bored, I guess I'll go SP a bit.
I just saw the map list and I can't wait for some of those missions so SP is definatly something I'll do, but not first.

Crysis is going to be mainly eye candy, singleplayer, and modding.
Call of Duty is going to be mainly multiplayer.
(at least that's in my opinion.)
That being said, I would go with Call of Duty simply because I like the multiplayer style much better, and multiplayer is what makes a game last.

Crysis' main strength will be the amazing graphics, but those WILL require a very high-end PC. Many who have played the MP Beta for Crysis have said it was OK, but did not blow them away in the gameplay department. The planned demo has been delayed a month.
The COD4 Public MP Beta was very well received on Xbox360, and that will very likely transfer over to PC (or be even better with all the mods and greater player numbers per server). COD4 also won't be as taxing on PC's, so more people will be able to play. The COD series on PC also already has a large fanbase, both casual and competitive, so there'll be tons of players online. PC has had a SP demo, which already gives some clues as to how the game will look and perform. We've had a lot of info released about it as well.
In total honesty, I would go with COD4. I cannot see this game failing.

cod 4 because alot of players are going to be playing it online and alot of clans willl be playing so its going to be a deep online game whereas crysis will be a good sp game but will lack in replay value i think and doesnt offer what cod4 does in terms of online play

I might try that Crysis just because of the SP, i had enough of that MP in the beta(played it for 45min tops and then uninstalled). I didn't like it at all...
