GOLD Status..................?

I have seen a few comments that the game has gone GOLD.

Is this true...? Could it be...? :confused:

There are some posts over at the CharlieOscarDelta site about this. :shock:
Can anyone confirm this.......?

EDIT: Just looked again and I think I got my dates wrong. The 360 beta doesn't wrap up until next weekend. So I'd look for the Gold press release the first week of October.

Last I read on FourTwoZero's blog he said announcing it was merely a formality at this point and he wouldn't say anything else until Activision's press release. They already have the sign off from both SOE for the PS3 version and the QA department at MS for the 360. I would expect an announcement this week (next at the latest.) PC demo will probably come shortly there after.

They make Demo's Gold?

Since when?

If the BETA is still out for the Console the PC version would only make since that'd be going Gold first.. They have said time and time again that their main focus was always the PC... Man that'd put the monkey in the wrench. :)
Good for them if they do... Slow down Halo3 a bit? They've said they are going after Halo3 anyways...

So the final question, Are We Gold Yet? I'll leave the final official word to any press releases Activision would like to send out, but lets just say, I've received a few congratulatory emails from both Sony of America for PS3 and Microsoft certification for the Xbox 360. What those emails say, as I said, I'll leave to the nicely worded press releases. All I'll say is thank you to everyone who played the beta, provided feedback, participated in the forums to let us know what you thought and suggestions and anyone else who helped us fine tune the game.

Straight from 402. Not officially gold yet.
