Need Help

i'm trying to make my own map with a few new things
the only problem is i dont know how to make my own map or add new things

i know most of you are gonna tell me not to try this and to let the big mod groups to handle this but i get bored and this is gonna be sorta a side project for me

so im just wondering if theres anyone that would want to take the time to explain to me (either on aim, xfire, pming me, posting here, or e-mailing me) how to creat maps add things

then creating guns and creating new uniforms for the soldiers and new vehicles

also if anyone could give me some programs to use to do these things
