I think I will probably end up getting the game for both platforms. I have a crew of dedicated gamers on the PC and a crew that plays on the Xbox. So my loyalty is being tested. I don't yet have the 360 so I guess it's an easy decision so far. I guess I'm wondering if it will help my game play to cross system or hurt it. Any thoughts?

I doubt that playing on the 360 is going to give you any help really on the PC. It would get you more familiar with the maps though, so I guess that would help. Not to mention the huge difference between the mouse and keyboard and a 360 controller is just too great to really help any.

It will all depend on what you're used to and as you said, what version your friends play. Since I suck at playing FPS games with two little sticks, I'll stick with the PC version. My brother on the other hand, can't find a program if it isn't on his desktop, let alone patch a game or download a mod. So it's Xbox for him.

I'm not trying to knock consoles there. I've seen more then one talented Halo player that are masters of those little plastic sticks. I just don't play enough to get any better.

I also suspect the games will "feel" different from a game play perspective. Spray-and-Pray is more effective. Sniping requires more skill, etc...

Most people prefer playing FPS games on the PC, for obvious reasons.

Seriously , idk about you guys but i feel a advantage have higher FPS and better gear than other players to help me do the best i can , XBOX everyone is on the same thing , no customization whatsoever. Your $ towards your badass Pc should payoff , Oorah.

there is nothing wrong with the 360, I mean I used to be a console gamer only a year ago and it was fun. I still occasionally play PS2 again lol....

Okay, I'm a little confused about what he said now.

TBH I haven't played my PS2 in a year. Playing some good 'ol GT would be fun sometime though.

I was really just musing about which platform I should get the game for. Thinking I'll stick w/ PC mainly b/c I have more friends that play PC.

Definitely not going to find me playing FPS's on a console. Nothing against those who do, but I find the controllers to be horrid. Mouse + keyboard >> any controller.
