Usually in hangers, nearly always in some kind of building.

Most of the chopper spawn flags have 1 or 2 aswell, example the watermill flag on first snow.

I've noticed most (all) of the pick up kits are on tables in buildings near the spawn. Like the mains in First Snow there is a hanger building that has the stinger, anti-material rifle, and an AT one all in one room. Each map is different, so look around.

^ that's the armoury, there is 1 at each main on the 64 player maps.

no wonder the helis were having a good time
its a bit harder now to down helicopters with infantry AT (no fly-by-wire) yet damage isn't higher

I was a little disappointed when I put a tank round into the side of a Euro-tiger and he turned and finished me off.

I didn't need stingers today. Forgot what map it was but the story is Germany is assaulting a train depot. It's an armour map. I was in the T-55 and from what I can see, HEAP shots down any chopper in one hit. Had my most fun and best score that time as most of my kills were from simply shooting down the Eurotiger.

Back to the topic, most pickup kits are by the spawns in a building. Just need to look for them a bit.

use a panzerfuast 3 tandem pickup that will down any chopper with 1 hit (i think)
