I like using the artillery to kill tanks in POE2 1 hit = kill, you can also destroy bridges, i got a source of 53 just using it

It's not the intended role of the artillery.
I suspect this is because of a lack of spotting and no way to range in the artillery yourself to suppress enemy bases.
I already made a thread pleading for such a item to be added.
Let tanks fight tanks instead or the Arty will become a ultimate points generator killing tanks in one shot.

and if you played it you will know that no one call for arty and tank do not always fight tanks people fight tanks too

Of course I know no one calls for arty! That is why Im making all this noise about the arty. Search using my forum name and you will find several large threads about the arty.
YOu dont take arty downtown plinking tanks. But people will do that because NO one spots for arty and it is too inaccurate for any other kind of fire mission. You might as well sit and contemplate your navel in the arty for 30 minutes for all the good it does without the suggested improvements.
Everyone wants to get some kills so you kill tanks with the arty because it is fast, effective and very profitable from a stats point of view when the map ends.

So we shouldn't use tanks and APC's to shoot down Helocopters too right?
Let's be real and let the game play its self out, in the old mods for BF1942 it was perfectly normal to roll up to a safe arty distance from a flag and fire away weather you had a spot or not, and if you kill a tank you kill a tank big whup. Arty is slow and killing tanks with it takes some practice and patience kill or be killed plain and simple.

if you have the arty and knowone is spotting for you then if you can grab the commander spot and use his sat view :) works a treat :)

Be a commander and use the satellite view (Not the arty satellite, just the commander's) for effective arty use beyond 300 yards up to about 700.

I don't know if you guys played POE1, but towards the end of the mod they made it so you couldn't aim mobile arty with your mouse. You had to use WASD and arrow keys, which made it harder to kill armor. I guess too many people complained.

I like the arty for POE. But using the commander screen and sitting within the death bubble of your main seems kinda cheap. At least bring it out of the death bubble. I would like to see a reverse death bubble. If you hang around your own uncap for to long it will start punishing you. As it is now I plead with the guy using my arty to take out the guy using their arty. But most times they just ignore each other and pummel the battlefield. Again I do like the arty. When the enemy is walking it up to a flag you are at, it just feels right. For those who are gonna use it a lot. Your first mission should be to eliminate the enemy arty.

No need to hang around your own main, get out to a quiet area within 700 yards of all the enemy bases and execute the firemissions.
Edited: Me thinks youre scaredy of the big bad Spec ops with C4. =)
The enemy arty most likely will be at HIS default so you need to cut the range down some. Keep in mind that the mouse's distance for the move becomes greater the longer the range gets. I can cut down on the error by getting a gamer mouse with very high DPI.
Bottom line, I think all hardware gets nerfted during a game's lifestyle with enough people whining about it. The only problem is that the driver has nothing to do but sit during these long firemissions which could include all of the bases or areas of enemy concentrations during a 30 minute round.

i say remove the artilary vehicals and replace them with anti-tank vehicals ( the barrel cant move left or right and the armor is less)
then also place the artilary from bf2 in but keep the hole unit call in thing. thats a good idea
