ok, I finlly got to play PoE today and all I can really say is WOW.
The pistols are awsome for long range and sound good.
The weapons are abit hard to learn at first, but I got the hang of them. I love the Shotguns and The noobtube is back in full force! I LOVE Fallen! Best Inf Only map ever! I played a few other maps like First snow and Etc.
I didn't get to use the mobile ARTY (I WANTED TO use it so bad!), I also didn't get the chopper (WHORES EVERYWHERE) Not for tanks and stuff, just for the choppers. All the maps look awsome. Kinda hard to see and shoot people because of all the trees, rocks, and Brushes sometimes.
I love the Anti-Per! I got 7 kills with one shot on Fallen earlyer, It was sweet.
But there is a BIG problem with this mod. The Ping and lag! I played about 50 servers today and I either lagged out and got disconntced OR I had HIGH ping and got kicked from the server. When I mean high, I mean 200+!
Maybe it was Because damn Bit torrment was running in the background and it was downloading PoE (How it got turned on? I don't know and why is was downloading PoE? I also don't know) or it IS becuase there is alot of Lag and high ping on the servers. I am not sure, what it is.
Also, the Gemey Sniper rifle sucks! It takes about 4-5 shots to the head or on the body to EVEN kill someome! I like the Assult rifle from the Ukrium side and I like alot of the weapons in this mod. Has anyone got the BAD lag/ping on any PoE servers? I hope I am not the ONLY one.
I Really like this mod and I hop to get this Lag/ping problem down contral.

well i havent got any lag, or connection problems on PoE yet, so i spose its the DOWNLOAD going in the backround, thats the obcvious solution. or your on a server that has a high ping, i dont know. all i know is i LOVE this mod

You were probably seeding. That means you have the the torrent downloaded but still uploading to other users.

And what do you mean by the sniper rifles. The german (gemey?) and SVD take 2 shots to down a guy and 1 if its in the head. The G68 anti material is a one shot kill.

Ukraine Assault Rifle FTW!! I absolutely love this thing. Good range, a great scope, and a real GL. And yeah, turn off bittorrent and you should be fine. I've gotten 0 lag with POE so far, even on Fallen with all that undergrowth.

PoE is great but they kind of skipped on a few things. The jets I just hate. Its annoying to have to switch between each type of weapon. Why couldnt be like in Vanilla BF2? Also, and this is my biggest issue I have with PoE, is the weapon damage. Its WAY to high. So high that those awesome infantry battles u see in Karkand are impossible. No one lives long enough to do any teamwork. I think they should fix that.

All the POE2 weapon models are completely bad *** looking. THey are my favorite part of the new content they have added. They set a new bar for the way those death sticks look!! :evil:

PoE is great but they kind of skipped on a few things. The jets I just hate. Its annoying to have to switch between each type of weapon. Why couldnt be like in Vanilla BF2? Also, and this is my biggest issue I have with PoE, is the weapon damage. Its WAY to high. So high that those awesome infantry battles u see in Karkand are impossible. No one lives long enough to do any teamwork. I think they should fix that.

I have heard the jets are severely handicapped. I'm not a pilot so I tend to stay out of them but all my clanmates that have significant air time have said the air isn't up to par with the tanks and infantry.

Devs, is there any plans to change the jets?

Gun damage to low????!!! This is what brings up the intensity your actually concerned about being killed. Can't do any Teamwork? Thats nuts try getting a squad and defending a flag for a whole round on POE.

Perhapse this mod is not for you then and you should just go back to vanilla....

Its a mod, not required for everyone to play you don't like it move along.....it was free so you can't complain and cry about it. Its like complaining about a free pizza being over cooked, who cares it free,...don't eat it!!

I beleive theres a few out there :rolleyes: that will back you up. head over to the PoE:2 forums and tell us your likes and dislikes. Please use the search function though. The more we see on the issue, the greater the chance of them being adjusted.

The damage being too high? WHAT? you played too much BF2!
There is a ton of teamwork going on on the server I play on and its got a lot to do with the fact that the damage is higher than bf2.
You can die quicker so you need a mobile spawn point close to a flag.
The infantry battles on Fallen are ten fold of what you get in Karkand.
No arty ruining everyones precious gunfight at the hotel, or tank to spawn camp you.

I love the AA vehicles
I have a good time defending amor columns

in BF2 pilot are having a good old time
in POE2 its suicide for noob pilots

only thing is I want is more AA pick-kits on maps with air units but without enough AA vehicles

as a side note im glad the jets arnt pwning evey thing on the ground yet like they do in VBF2 :):) i can now drive a tank 20 ft without it geting blown to kingdom come
