What's your favorite weapon in the demo?

W1200 (The shotgun)

M16A4 Granadier

Draganov

G3
Javalin
If I'm missing any let me know.

I personally had a lot of fun trying out the Dragononv and the Shotgun. They were a lot of fun to play around with. Also, did everyone notice that the G3 was automatic in the demo while it's a semi in the beta? Do you guys think it's just a balance thing?

I picked up a G3 and loved it. I didn't notice the full-auto thing because I was firing it single-shot because that was how it was in the beta.

My second favorite would be the Draganov. Snipers FTW

I think the semi vs. full auto might be SP specific. Notice how they load you up with an M16, reflex sight, M203 (with tons of ammo), forehand grip, 4 frag, and 4 flash? And you can still swap out your pistol for one of the dropped enemy weapons. You're a walking arsenal.

Contrast this with the MP Beta. One frag, one special grenade, one weapon attachment, etc... Having the SP load out in MP would lead to a spam fest IMO. But who knows. Since IW decided not to include MP in the demo, we have to wait until early November to find out.

i love the svo but id almost say it needs a nerf, it seems to be a insta kill weapon but that could just be single player.

In the 360 beta it was often an insta-kill if you had stopping power on. It had a lot more recoil though (about like BF2).

The javelin was awesome, very impressive. Other than that the SVD was a lot of fun to use.

The only weapons I haven't tried is the M16 (can't get my hands on it). Of the ones I've tried, the standard M4 is my favorite.

Its an M4, M16 hasn't had a full auto capability since the 1970s.

the g3 sound needs more meat to it in my opinion..

I don't know how to get the M16, but a shotgun drops right at the beginning when you're ambushed and 2 guys die infront of you.

There's also an enemy next the AA at the end that has one, but that's useless because it's... at the end.

I also picked up a shot gun after killing the guys around the AA site... but there wasn't any point to picking it up, because that's basically the end of any real fighting.
