Conspiracy Of Nod Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Conspiracy Of Nod (http://equinox-games.com/tdcon/) mod website. They are back with a new render to show. Take a look:

Long time no see people, today we have the GDI Orca for you, progress is a little slow so we apologise for it being so long so if you would like to join us then please fill out our form on the site or e-mail Mavrik347 direct @ mavrik347@aol.com. Anyway less small talk more Orca. Here She is, as with everything its a WIP and can be changed before release.

Also for those who don't know, Xenon has desided to leave us of his own choice and has left Mavrik347 in control with now full power, Xenon will still be on the forums and involved with the community.

Well thats it for now, we will get back soon with the Calico skinned and ready for action with the Minigunner class.

Thats a good work but at the advance of the mod how it can get released ? maybe better to be reported on bf2142 like first strike ?

That would be great if this mod got released, and sorry if I'm being a pesimist, but in all likely hood it won't. It is a total conversion mod , but multiply that by two. I would suggest porting to 2142 to get any chance of a release. I'm intrested in the concept, I really am, but there has been atleast 3 C&C mods that have all failed to release for BF2 so I am sorry to say the chances of this mod making it very far (Yes I know it's been "Announced" for months) are slim to none.

With all that being said, this must too. That orca is sexy :D

I want to see this mod releaced but I feel that this goal would be more atchivable in bf2142 then bf2.

Hey guys thanks for the support ;).

Firstly there is no 'porting' involved, unlike 1942 > V > 2, 2142 IS a mod of BF2 therfore we will carry on working with BF2 and then release it on both, 2 and 2142 as most people arn't buying 2142. Hopefully as a bonus we can find a way to allow people playing it on 2142 to be able to play with people playing it on BF2.
