How to: All weapons (inc. MP5, M21, and M16) [Archive]

**NOTE** You must have the console enabled to do this. Go to Options -> Game Options -> Enable Console [YES].

At the main menu, open the console with ~ and type:
/seta thereisacow 1337
/spdevmap bog

Now in-game, you can use the same cheats as CoD2 pretty much. Type them in with the console again (~). Some are as follows:
god
noclip
give ammo
give all (Lets you scroll through all guns, the Colt, M21, MP5, and M16A4 Grenadier [auto] are included)
give C4 (use "give ammo" before placing C4 or running out)

Also:
Use /cg_drawHUD 0
along with /noclip to get some good screenshots :)

Arcade mode:
first start the demo, and press the tilde key to bring up the command box.
Enter "seta thereisacow 1337" (without the qoutes). then enter "arcademode 1" (again, without the qoutes). then enter
"arcademode_full 1" (once again, without the quotes) and finally enter "spdevmap bog" (yes, without qoutes) and you will be in arcade mode, a time crisis like mode where you try to rack up points in a time limit. All credit goes to me.
I found it fun. You move a lot quicker when you're on a time limit :D.

Just in case you don't read up...same as the other dude, you have to enable it in the Options first.

EDIT: nevermind I found it, I'm blind because i turned subtitles off earlier and didnt know it was there lol stupid me.

OK now how do you activate it? because it typed in all that stuff and nothing happened.

At the main menu, the first one turns cheats on, and the second should load the level. While you're in the level, open the console with ~ and type in god, noclip, give all, etc.

How do you exactly "scroll all guns"?? Is there a magic button to it? Since when i type giveall and press 1 or 2 i change from pistol to M16A4 Grenadier...

Since God,noclip and giveammo works for me as far as i know, but no weapons...

Yes, it works for me too.
And notice that there is no "/" in give all

seta thereisacow 1337
spdevmap bog (causes the map to reload)

give all

and you can now cycle weapons with "2"

Well, you don't necessarily need the slash for single-player. I'm not sure what it'll be for CoD4 multi-player, but if you typed something in console in Call of Duty (mp), it would come out as text.

Did you use "/spdevmap bog" at the main menu to load the map?

You guys can also press 1 to scroll through weapons too... Anyway what is the default difficulty for doing the spdevmap? I already did it and tried the codes and it worked but I'm just wondering about the difficulty settings.

Well, no, since this is the demo and there's only one map. If you did need to type the map name, then simply, "bog" wouldn't work. As it is actually named, "bog_a".

With an 'a' comes a 'b'. Remember Vasquez talking about a defensive perimeter around the tank at the end of the mission, well that's the 'b'.

Arcade mode is pretty fun... Difficulty was 1.5x so, that was either recruit or regular. I'm pretty sure you can adjust difficulty in game

If anyone is still trying to get the Console codes to work, try what I had to do.
1. R Click on the COD:4 desktop icon , then click on properties.
2. Change the target line to read: "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Demo\iw3sp.exe" thereisacow 1337
3.Click OK
4.Enter game as you would
5. Turn on Console Option (in Options...?)
6. Press the ~ to open console
type: /spdevmap.bog_a (should start map loading)
7. Once map loaded and you are playing, open console again and type : /give all

should work..................along with the other commands

I kind of wish you could use the G36C. The weapon files were in iw_02.iwd...so does anyone know if it is possible to get it into the game?

Yea I expect they aren't. Maybe it is possible though to edit the M4 file so that it fires just like the G36C would.

Just wanted to add that you can use C4 once per level (it says your C4 ammo is full until you restart/load a save) by typing /give C4

Right click is throw, left click is detonate.

Edit, just use "give ammo" before you place any C4, duh :rolleyes:

On the demo, I don't think you can change rate of fire... Just single tap your fire button. No point in single shot in CoD4 singleplayer anyway, there's barely any recoil...

Yeah, I haven't heard any news on rate of fire... but you can switch firing modes (grenade launcher) so I'm not sure.

See, i could see firerate becoming a problem if it was between Single and Burst, but not between Auto and Semi.

Example: You can't fire semi while on burst, but you can while on auto.

I believe if you go into the weapon file, you can change the setting called "fireType" and change it from "Full Auto" to something. I think semi-auto is "Single Shot".

Pretty sure with 3 shot burst you just tap your mouse still, where as holding it down will fire 3, or is it like the FA-MAS and Glock in CS:S, where tapping the mouse automatically fires 3?

It was the default weapon for Call of Duty 2, and I'm not sure if there was anything like it for Call of Duty (1). Does it really matter, I mean, you won't be using it a lot.

Well, this whole game really dosent really matter, if thats what you mean. You'll probably end up playing for a year, untill you find a new game and dump this one. Im just bringing it up because i was stumped as to what the heck it was.
