Graphics Settings

Every time I try to change my graphics settings, the game crashes. The changes still apply, except for the resolution, which always reverts back. Can anyone help me with this?

This was happening to me too. This is what I did, pretty simple.


Go to, "C:/Program Files/Activision/Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Demo/players/profiles/yourprofilename/"
Open "config" with notepad.
Find (Ctrl + F) the phrase, "seta r_mode"
Then plug in your desired resolution for the value to the right of the phrase. (i.e. seta r_mode "1680x1050")


Edit: Forgot to add, do this to your config_mp also.
