Where can you pre-order CoD? Hopefully someone in Canada can give me a canadian site. I tried bestbuy and future shop, aswell as Electronics Boutique and none of them have it up for pre-order yet.
I'm confused as to when the game actually is going to be released. Gamespot shows the nov. 5th, activision shows the 6th, and bestbuy shows the 7th. Anyone know when the release date is?

At this time, we're announcing the Beta will end on Sunday, September 30th. In the United States, you can visit GameStop and Best Buy to reserve your copy of the game. International users can visit www.callofduty.com for territory-specific pre-sell programs. CoD4:MW will be available on November 6th in North America, November 9th in Europe.

Callofduty.com doesn't have a pre-order link for Canada, only US, UK, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.

Call of Duty 4 homepage > Pre-Order > United States > Best Buy
Probably works for Canada too. If not check the Best Buy website.

I'm hoping to buy mine from Target. I have a $20 gift card, and want to use it. Otherwise, that's $20 wasted.

I'm not preordering it...there is no point. I'm hoping I will find somewhere where they release it before the street date.

Generally, pre-ordering is no faster than getting it in a store, and often it takes longer (surprisingly enough).
There are so many FutureShops, BestBuys, and EBs here in the Lower Mainland that you don't have to worry about not getting a copy, kr1kit. I'm usually able to walk into a store the day a game is released and get the game I want, where as you'll see TONS of people on forums left and right complaining that their pre-order hasn't arrived yet.
For anyone contemplating, one thing I'd suggest is to NOT go with Amazon.com for your game pre-order. I see more complaints about them (anywhere from lateness to the wrong game sent) than any other site.

Yeah Amazon sucks. I ordered a textbook and it took them 30 days to tell me the post office had been holding it (they used USPS <- lol @ our gov't) for several weeks. Last time I checked it's supposed to BE DELIVERED TO ME.
I was angry .

Well the problem is, i won't be here when the game is released, so i wanted to get it shipped to my house and then my parents ship it to me. Actually I don't even know why i'd do that, now that i think about it.. I'll just go pick it up in Montreal on my weekend pass..
How did i not think of that before?

I'll probably just reserve a copy at the local Gamestop.
