Ranked POE2 servers

I wanted to know if it is ok to play on the ranked severs for poe2. And how that worked.

Yes it's OK to play on them because they are not actually ranked using the GameSpy Stats Servers but with a 3rd party stats setup . Stats gained on POE2 will NOT reflect on your normal BF2 stats.

There are no ranked servers for POE2, or any other MOD. EA\DICE is not going to allow that.MOD points will not count towards your BF2 ranks and points.

Not today, and not tommorow. Thats a good thing BTW.

This MOD forum is for MOD development. You can post in the POE2 MOD forums or on thier site for more questions. Many MODs will add a stat tracker for people who care about that, but no ranks, unlocks, or BF2 points.

"Mod" is actually an abbreviation (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=abbreviation&x=0&y=0), not an acronym (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=acronym), so there's really no reason to capitalize it. Not that it really matters either way. :p

Also, ABR (http://www.battlefieldranking.net/) is actually a ranking system for mods, it worked really well for PRMM - however Dice broke it with the 1.3 patch. It will supposedly work again in 1.4 though. ABR stats are completely separate from your BF2 stats, so you will start out with 0 points and work your way up as you play an ABR-supported mod.

I capatilize MOD out of respect for the hard work that gets put ino them. Jimbob definitely belongs on that list of people imo (should I have capatlized that?).

Again, the thread should have been moved to the POE2 forum up above. Maybe a moderator will do that for us when it gets noticed.

I saw the PM you sent me on this question. To be honest, I am not sure what your asking. When you open up your multiplayer tab, you should see a list of servers out there. If its blank, check your filter settings.

If all the servers seem to be red on the description font, then you need to update to the latest version of 1.4 as you may have DLed the initla beta 1.4.

There is no "original server" name as your wondering (we might be thinking of different things here btw), and its "battlefield 2" instead of battlefront (not important though).
