Trouble With Joining Squads

ive had this problem since day one. whenever i join a game and i forget to join or create a squad, after the first 5 or 6 minutes i cant for some reason. im not sure y. i clikc on the join or create button but nothing happens. i think something was left out in the installation process but im not sure. does anyone know how i can fix this?

thats probably the squad bug with the all wonderful 1.3 patch

Are u trying to join a squad when your dead? because u have to be alive or just joined a server to join a squad.
