Hi there,
Im gonna buy a new pc in about a week and Im not that good in picking the best video card. Because I aint got much money to spare Im looking for a good videocard that is about €100-150 (maybe a little more). Ive been asking around but Im still not sure what videocard is the best and fits in my budget, untill ive enough money to buy a 8800 gts or somthing like that. The cards that ive found are: the X1950 pro (ati), the 8600gts (nvidia) and the HD2600xt (ati). Which one should be the best? Or are there better alternatives?

most likely my spec will be:

Asus M2N (1 pci-e slot) / Asus M2N-E SLI (2 pci-e slots)
AMD X2 5000+ @ 2.6 Ghz
2 Gb DDR2-667
320 GB HD

I'd say an X1950 pro but I would just wait all together until you got the $$ for an 8800, it plays maxed for me and never lags. you could get one for like $290.

Agree with Sniper1432, try and hold out for a 8800 GTS and you will save money in the long run, Good Luck

Listen to them. I wasnt patient before and bought a lower end card and in the end it turns into a waste of money.
