After almost a month since their last update, the US Intervention (http://usi.jarhedz.com/) mod team is back with some new news. Here's what they had to say:
This week is a special update, although it comes a bit late due to RL issues, I think it's still worth mentioning that I (MrGold) attended Games Convention in Leipzig to represent USI. It was a pleasure to meet the EA staff, fellow modders, and BF2 news site admins.
After a nine hour trip on the train I arrived in Leipzig on Thursday morning. I was off to a good start as, along with two modders from IDF, we met Sven Schmidt, EA's product marketing manager. On the second day, all of the BF2 modders and admins who were present met outside Hall 3 to discuss various things. Day 3, Saturday the 26th, was an important day, as we met Colin Clarke in person. Unfortunately he had to leave for the UK, so he couldn't stay long. But he did a good job answering our questions. The 4th and last day was a rather strange day for four of us. Brickfield, OPK, BF1918 and USI got interviewed on the GIGA stage. GIGA is a German television station that is dedicated to gaming and the world that surrounds it. And for a first time on TV, I think we managed pretty well! Congrats guys! Read more... (http://usi.jarhedz.com/)
