1st - thanks in advance for reading this.
My problem is that I have moved and no longer have my old e-mail address.
I have always used the remember me option in BF2, and never needed to access my account at ea.
So now I am trying to sign up for veterans program - but I can't because my I don't know my password anylonger. And I can't get to my old e-mail address to find it out.
So.
I created a new EA account with my new email address.
Submitted a ticket to EA.
They indicated they can not do anything about it, but suggest I create a new account.
OK - I'll try that.
Well..... I made a new EA account - so in BF2 I tried to use that. And it says account/email already exists when I try to create a new account.
And it gives me the same error when I try to retrieve the account.
So I responded to my ticket - but no one has every responded back.
So now I am worried that if I install 1.4 patch I might lose my "remember me" in the password field and not be able to play at all.
How do i create a new account - sounds ridiculous but every way I try to gies me a problem. Can't I use the EA account I created? or do I have to get a new e-mail account to make a new BF2 account?
I've searched faq's etc - haven't seen anything which would help yet.
Please help - ea doesn't respond to my ticket anymore.
