Like I said... What mods for Bf2 are currently released. I have POE2 and it's awesome. Any others?

Also, does anyone know of a site thats lists the BF2 mods and percent completed? I remember something like this for BF42 and was wondering if anyone has a link to something like this.

Search through the MOD forums and you will find even more than that.

Go to FileFront.com. Type in Battlefield 2 in the search. Click on Modifications and it should list a lot of modifications.

Around the same time as Desert Conflict (when its ready). actually, not far off at all. I cant beleive I forgot NAW, it was not a waste of space IMO. :cool:

Actually I am waiting for Forgotten Hope 2 to release more than anything.. World War 2 with BF2 graphics! I just wish there was some word as to a release date.

Don't think I am going to buy 2142. I hate space games and don't want to be a part of more growing pains with a new Dice game.

Forgotten Hope 2 is a while off yet. I wouldn't sit around waiting for mods, because there are a ton of absolutely brilliant ones out already - USI, OPK, 1918 to name but a few.

oh, and PR ;) We've got a 1.4 hotfix out soon and new 0.4 version coming out a bit later.

We work for free (some make money at it), We have families that need some attention from time to time (just ask my wife and two kids), and even like to play a game or two ourselves from time to time.

Plus, if you havent done this kind of work before, it might seem like you just click a few buttons, and your work is done.

You also have to keep in mind the size of the teams. Some teams are huge and can pull from a variety of people. Some teams literally consist of a handfull of guys working thier butts off.

Some food for thought. Besides, surprises are the best. I want to wake up one day and see something I have been waiting for is suddenly here. Giving a date or relative time wont hurry anything along, so theres no productive reason to give one. Just ask USI, they learned this lesson for us.:|:

I appreciate what modders do. I had pretty much given up on BF2 until POE came out and now have developed a new love for the game. Just sayin it would be nice to have a general idea when mods are coming out or at what percentage they are complete. ( FH2?)

Yeah... I think BF Pirates is gonna rock. I didn't play the BF1942 one but I still can't wait for BFP. Also, Brickfield is a damn good mod, looking fricken awesome.

Wow, I didn't realize so many have been released! I don't hear much chatter about some of these (1918, Battleracer, Kobol, etc.). Is it safe to assume that if people aren't talking about them much that they're dormant and no one is playing them? I'd like to give some of them a try, but I don't want to download for hours, install, and find out that there are no servers out there running them.

Pirates bf1942 was a blast. I havent seen much more than sketches of things from them, so I wonder how far along it reall is.

The art work they have shown is top nothc, and I cant wait to see the designs in an actual map.
