Orel is a "twilight" map... not a lot of light to work with. The exercise was to show off PoE2 more than how well we played. So if that portion had the gamma tweaked, it would not do justice to the mod.

Maybe a higher res rendering it it would not seem so dark.. not sure there.

My Feedback:

The Good: POE is a great mod, hopefully this video may get even more people playing it, Nice Intro, Nice exit credits, Nice toilet scene. Music worked for me.

The Bad: To a POE player there is nothing new in the footage.

The Ugly: The camera work is to jittery/shaking. You keep moving the camera during action scenes just a touch too much. Well at least thats my opinion.

But overall I liked it.

As I've said before, constructive comments are always welcome.....the camera work is my next area to try and improve. Gotta use the pause more I guess...get in, setup the FOV, then unpause

BTW the player in the toilet scene is one of our better players and we always wondered how he got around so easily....we've concluded that he fades thru floors and comes out in the outhouse (or there's actually three of him :eek: )

The footage was too dark, so there isn't anything to see therefore I can't make any comments. Try making the video brighter.

A higher resolution would have fixed the problem with the brightness. Apart from that good job. POE2 does seen a bit to vBF2ish though

I liked it, I like all BF2 videos, even if they are bad. Not saying this one was bad, because I really liked it. I though you did a good job, it is the first video of POE2 that I've seen yet.

After all the stuff y'all were saying I was expecting a horrible quality video, but it's fine. I didn't think it was dark at all. It wasn't a Kubrick movie or anything, sure, but I cerntinally can't bad talk it when I'm about to try my own first video for my Poe2 review in the coming weeks lol

I've had some other people also suggest that a higher res would look better. Just haven't had the time to go back in and render a better version. Also my hosting space is donated so I don't want to abuse it TOO bad :)

Thanks for the input Jofaba....I look forward to seeing your video....my friends and I love POE2. Actually played a bunch more of it during our last LAN Party. The SpokLAN group has a been a long time POE supporter even back when it was the only thing worth buying BF:Vietnam for. :)

you are right tho....my camera work is my next detail to focus on with these videos. My wife and I are working on another video with, for lack of a better term, an interesting twist.

BTW...checked out your M95 video...awesome job. I love the PIP stuff you did and the camera work was excellent. I hope I can get my camera issues worked out to that level. Nice Job.

To those who think the video is dark, all I can say is the whole video is not that dark....mainly the OREL section. We've discussed that its a twilight map and changing the lighting would truly take away from the feel of map that the POE2 guys were trying to create.
