Support Gunner Aiming

Hello class and welcome to support 101..uhhh yeahh..anyways this is the first time making a vid with fraps and so forth so I figured I would share some tips on gunning with the support weapon mostly for the new guys or new gunners..so hopefully youll stop shooting me when im close to an enemy with that thing;) . anyways have fun and if you have anymore input please feel free. I hope this improves you aim.

Im done with the PKM.

Its a powerhouse but its so inaccurate even when you fire in bursts. Im gonna stick with the non-unlock support weapons from now on. They might not pack as much of a punch but the accuracy makes them more lethal.

hey m8 the MG36 is real nice and the PKM well, yeah...I found it sucked at longer ranges but I still use it from time to time. lol

Yeah I tried but, im currently deployed at the moment so Im away from my computer and im using my laptop at a hotel. The net is slow here so all I have is single player until I get back. Ill be back online though in a few days.

Nice vid, but I don't think that real players react the same way as the bots in SP. Who knows though...I'll have to try it out.

Same here. The PKM has a too twisted accuracy / punch ratio ;)

The saw IS great most of the times. But the stock MEC weps are... well... just don't like them, so I have to use the PKM. Till i'll unlock the MG36.

let me say something about support --i played support for about 80 hres --and i have to tell that SAW sux big time --RPK owns, PKM is better for mid distances(if you know how to use it), but you loose in close range witk PKM ...MG36 ..best gun ..do NOT ever switch to burst mode -NEVER --

some tips about MG36:

1.be quick, if they see you you can be dead
2. aim a little bit over a victim (really little bit)
3. shoot in 2 - 5 rounds --in your self burst mode (NOT THE PREPARATED ONE)
4.if you have opportunity, wait as long that yellow crosshair will show(IF you have opportunity)
5.if you have chance -reaload at 30 rounds .try to not do dry reloads

tips about PKM:

1.wait for the yellow crosshair!
2. shot in 2 - 4 rounds
3. reload at 20 round(if it is a chance)
4. try to not overheat it

i have nothing to say about RPK and SAW

some general tips:

try to stick to anti tank ppl and medics (they mostly need the ammo)
try to take out snipers with MG36 (it is possible)(i gave a few headeshots -with one round)
place ammo packs on anti tank and medics camp places(or where they spent much of time)
if you see some one lack of ammo --DO NOT RUSH TO HIM-you maybe get killed --rather that he waits a bit

have fun playin support kit

and always shoot from prone and aim mode

You are correct. I love the burst on the G36E, but it DOES suck on the MG36.

Yeah, I have only like 15-20 ( :D ) and the only thing I have in my mind is that the crosshair becomes a X shape when you hit someone, instead of a + .

ss anre from snipe rifle because it is hard to tap ss while close range shooting --if you wiew closely youll see the X
