I know the chest of your target is probly a good place to AIM at, but I tryed that on full auto on mostly all the second unlock guns, and I end up no hitting my target, bullets fly all over the place emptying about a click into my target and dont even kill him, and then I end up dying. I tryed single shot what a joke that is by the time you switch to single your dead, your you get into close combat with single shot and you get torn to sreads cuz your target is using full auto.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Lol that's your second post ive seen here about noobish things :D
(That's ok you are not alone in the noobland)
First of all, it depends on what kind of weapon you use... If it's an assault rifle or even a carbine, shoot bursts to the chest / head area. The less accurate your weapons is / high recoil, the more you should aim to the chest area and not the head.
With weapons like the L85A1 you should aim to the head and shoot singles (with auto-mode, you don't need to switch modes to shoot singles).
If you use support guns, DO NOT shoot while standing. This will only expose your location and eventually kill you with even not a single kill assist.
ALWAYS be prone and shoot 2-4 shots each time.
If you have some experience with music, let's say get a constant rythm when shooting.
For instance:
You are using the PKM. Shoot 3/16 at like 80 BPM, 1/16 break to let the gun calm down and reset the recoil, than again :D
For snipers... well nothing have to be said except for DO NOT USE SEMI-AUTO SNIPERS

Don't think i'm the best player around; my KDR is not higher than 1:1 yet :D

I leave all my weapons on full auto, but shoot nice sexy controlled bursts of 3 or 4 at a time to kill my enemy. In fact, with practice you can use full auto/or semi and get one bullet at a time if your trigger finger is fast enough.

I don't agree with you, as a medic I concentrate on healing and reviving, letting the assualt / support groups to fight. Therefore my KDR is not high.
So I suggest you to play as support - really easy kills, even w/o the unlocks.

Those guys have it right.
Head shots for the smoother rifles, burst from the chest up for the rest, and even burst from the legs up for support. let the gun walk itself up the target. Armor makes a difference too.
An armored assault opponent is going to take a lot of well placed chest shots to knock down, but only one good head shot.
A sniper by comparison can be waxed much easier with random body shots.

Actually, I find a medic to be quite good for K/Ds as well. Sure, you don't KILL as much, but you don't DIE as much either, because you can heal yourself.
Plus, the medic kit has the awesome G36E unlock (if you have SF), it is the best assault rifle in the game IMO.

Weird....
Controlled burst is the key though.
With weapons like the L85A1 you should aim to the head and shoot singles (with auto-mode, you don't need to switch modes to shoot singles).
How does that work? I have single shot and three short burst on the l85a1. I can't shot single shots unless I'm in single shot mode.

The l85 only has full auto and single...maybe you're thinking of the g36e. For weapons that have full auto and single you simply click the fire button once and you have instant single shot mode.

Sigh
getting kills is much easier if you get all your controls changed to a way that works for you.
Make your controls suited for you so that you can quikly switch weapons and take fast kills
Also changeing your Ctrl Key to prone helps me allot.

As just said, make sure your mouse is calibrated for how you play. Sometimes, teh defaults are not suited for you. I have a 5-button Intellimouse, and each button has a function dealing with the weapons, like my thumb is for the assult weapon/full/single shot. The rest relate differently.
If you are using one of the heavier assult rifles, like the AK101 or G3, you need to be mindful of your distance from the target. If you are close, you might as well open up the full auto, stop for a millisecond and reopen up to reset your spread. If you are several feet away, you need to pulse your shots with the heavy assualt rifles. Meaning, you fire maybe 4 four rounds, let off, then fire 4 more again. Beyond that 15ft/6m you need to do quick taps on the mouse key. Now all this is for the less accurate/power full assualt rifles.
With the lighter rifles, like the M16/G36E, you can do much quicker taps at greater ranges.
I normally aim for the hardest spot to hit on someone, the neck. With shooting for such a defined small area, you get better in the long run at hitting the head. This is because you don't have the excuse that you are just training your self to hit a simple area (the chest). It forces you to be better that taking the easy shot. So, eventally the head because an easy shot, while the chest is the easiest!
That said, I always run with my mouse ever-so-slightly downwards, so when I come up to a target, my cross-hairs are already where I want them, for the most part.
Also get quick with the zoom feature, and try not to walk much firing. Zooming will help control your shots at distance, and not moving much will help you kill your target quicker, because likely they are moving and are at an accuracy disadvantage.
I hope this helps some. I have an Accuracy approaching 28% overall so maybe I am doing something right:D

i allways make headshots wizh AK 101 close range(zthat needs some training but it isnt hard)
with F2000 -if you are prone and opponent is stand on 2-5 meters aim at his balls and just squeeze full auto and gun will raise just to his head and kill him
try not to use ironsights on close range(because you have a limited seeing range)
yes and switchin fire modes is very important, the best way is to learn to have single shot allways, but you need quick fingers...
i have have my gun aiming at the ground for 2 reasons ...surprises and seeing over the ironsight(ususally i am USMC-support (i play with MG36), MEC-medic)so it pays off for both kits
I have a thing for going for the legs... I think some guns have no impact on units with body armour, especially carbines. Legs do it for me- they seem a lot easier to hit too.

I saw a post on this forum along time ago and they an expirament on how many shots it takes to kill a target. What they discovered was all weapons with a single shot to the head was an instant kill. this was before the 1.3 and1.4 patch I believe. Of course the pistols took a few more rounds I believe. When I am revived I end up having a different weapon and it is mostly on single shot, which tells me two things. The single shot is the most effective or because of the single shot method, I now have is kit:laugh:
I can tell you one thing with the support weapon. Prone and three round bursts is the way to go. I killed two enemies while prone with a three round shot as support several times, by not really aim at all.
Oh yeah... always prone with the support weapon. I once saw a bullet come out SIDEWAYS out of my support weapon once. I didn't play support for the rest of the day.

after patch 1.4, does all weapon still can instant kill with headshots?
i encounter after patch 1.4 with full health getting killed instantly by NON nade-launcher weapons

I find that it is the short bursts on most weapons that is the most effective every time - obviously not sniper rifle! As for the chest well that works but the better players (not me!) clearly get very good at hitting the head for one shot kills. Just takes a lot of practice.

I normally aim for the chest as its the biggest target and i have more chance of getting all my bullets to hit home, but also when support use the PKM and shoot one bullet at a time, its a fully auto sniper rifle i swear!

Change to single as soon as u spawn and change back to full if u come into CQC.
Never walk and shoot; no matter how close your target is- all BF2 soldiers have problems pointing a gun straight when walking... thats why.
