movie help?

Apart from fraps, what other methods can you use to create videos? I have already made several videos with fraps and windows movie maker, but I want to use different camera angles. I tried the battle recorder thingy and it's getting me nowhere.

I've asked this before too.
While fraps may not seem the best way
if you have the full version, and know how to use it, it's all you need. (along with some good editing)
you can use tracked camera stuff in battlerecorder, but for me atleast, it seems to be too much of a pain.
Use fraps, get your fps and graphics up. Put a few good transitions or well timed effects, and your good to go.
P.S. camera angles make/break your movie.

I watched your movie.
Its cool, but for stuff like that interests me. Give it more than ingame play. Try some battlerecorded stuff and play around with everything.

Also, ask[C22] yrethguard (spelling lol) he's a great help if you catch him not afk, which he always is.

After some reasearch it appears the only way to get battle recorder to work properly is by setting up your own LAN games and being host or to play a single player game. Apparently no one sets up battle recorder correctly on multiplayer games.

I was able to run 10 other people and make a movie with BR that way.

Yeah you can run your own server, but it's limited of course to hardware and bandwidth. If you need more than you can do you can rent one. I think for a day they're not too expensive.

Yes many servers set up BR wrong, but I found out that www.game-monitor.com has the direct correct urls to the br files.
