Yes i just got my computer re-downloaded or just formated my whole comuter. I downloaded bf2 and 1.4 patch and everything but when i launch my bf2, it just restarts my compter. It restarts my compter not the game. please help me:|:

Alright, it just seemed odd, and if you did download it, I wouldn't be supirsed it stuffed up your computer.. In any case, I would normally blame it on your graphics card, which do you have?

dont know i got like ati something my graphic card was too fast for it. So i had to slow it down. REmber i already played battielfeidl2 and had it in my compter. I just got a virus and had to format my whole computer

if you used the incremental patch, you will need to reinstall bf2 and get the full patch, there was a problem with the smaller patch

ugh. viruses scare me. cant wait for vista. on what they say "will protect your computer from all spyware and ad-ware and hackers etc"

no wonder...........never listen to EA make sure ur drivers are up to date like the other guy said sometimes re fromatting ur bomp can leave ur driver blank and not have any driver like at all except for maybe the one the card came with.

I downloaded the 1.4 incremental patch from a mirror site and have had no problems except a bit of lag every now and then.

MB: Gigabyte GA-K8NS
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 2800+ (2000 MHz/overclock)
RAM: 512MB
Video:LeadTeak A6600 GT TDH(128MB/128b)
HDD:80GB/SATA
Sound:Onbord

Do u think Special Forces, Armored Fury or Euro Forces can be played with this config?And why can't be played only if i applay the patch?
