GameTrailers (http://www.gametrailers.com/) has posted up two new videos for Frontlines today coming from the THQ Gamer's Day event. The first video is a developer walkthrough of a single player mission with Kaos Studios' design director, Dave Votypka. The second video includes an interview with Frank DeLise and takes a look at the RPG-like leveling of abilities, the drones, and the vehicles in Frontlines. Check them out below:

Very informative videos!
There are some nice things to admire, as a first look at actual gameplay footage.
I'd like to highlight the radio control drones as a hot topic of discussion, I can see a few trouble spots involving the use of those online but it's all very inventive stuff!
However, the start cut scene was hardly as great. What I saw was very corny actually, the characters and animations represent something off "The Sims" and to be honest, when I saw the front page stating it was ole to Black Hawk Down style I was surprised that they would choose to market the game on something so correlated on that of a very common and childish "re-make request" that undoubtedly an offspring from the battlefield community. I don't know where this quintessence that “unoriginally is cool" came from.

Anyway, gameplay looks tiptop so far on solid development. I have a few things more to comment on, but I'll leave that till later.
