Planet Frontlines (http://planetfrontlines.gamespy.com/) has launched its site with an interview with Kaos Studios' Community Manager, Mitch Gross. Some great questions regarding modding and competitive community support are answered. Here's a snippet:
PF: Does Frontlines: Fuel of War feel like the natural evolution of ideas you started with Desert Combat?
DV: We definitely used DC as an inspiration for the ‘feel’ of the game. We wanted to keep it a fast-paced, adrenaline-filled experience. We also focused on trying to re-create the same great feel DC had in terms of the weapons and the vehicles. Obviously, we’re doing this on a different engine this time around, so there will be some differences, but overall we’re quite pleased with how much we’ve been able to adapt Unreal3 to our game style...
