Game Rating?

I am more of a BF2142 nut so I know all about that game and all I know about this one is that it looks sweet.

My question is if anything has been said about the rating of the game? Will they make it very gory? I hope they do becasue that would make for some fun multiplayer but seeings how its EA I do not know if they are going to.

Knowing the ESRB these days it will probably get an M rating, hopefully gore will be an option. The previous games had puffs of blood, so that is probably what this will be like. Maybe they will make it like CSS but with more detail and variation. Actually you will need such a good system to run it that I doubt 10 yr olds will be playing this.

EDIT: I just watched one of the videos and when you shot someone in the chest you could see a puff of blood that looked very realistic. The video was from E3 though so it might be taken out in before the release.

I would hope that a game with these graphics would have at least blood puffs like FarCry but as far as hard core gore I can understand if they do not becasue the ESRB will be breathing down there necks.

Agreed..I like gore, only if it is done right/realistically, though.

If they have gore they better make it so you can shoot dead bodies the same as live ones. It also makes me mad when I kill 10 people in one spot and see there bodies just disappear, hopefully they will stay there in Crysis.

in a trailer i wached a soldier next to the player got chopped up and blood went all over teh screen..so yeah "M"

I am hoping for an "M" rating on this; with graphics this good if they don't have a semi-realistic blood/gore system I will be disappointed.

I was just watching a video and when they dude was spraying some enemys he cut down a tree to lol.

I hope we get an "M" rating. This will enable Crytek to develop some state of the art gore graphics, plus it will keep SOME of the 12 year olds away.

I figure if you can blow trees and buildings to pieces..why not people. So yeah I'm seeing an M rating being the most likely one for this game.
