The guys from GameSpy (http://www.gamespy.com/) have put up their take on Crysis today. Here's a portion of the article:
Visuals aside, the customizability of the suit is a phenomenal feature that will allow players to become a jack of all trades, and possibly a master of some. With the suit, players can use the speed enhancement to zip down a map, and even after the energy bar is depleted, speed keeps it high. Strength allows for not only powerful melee attacks, but also for players to make higher jumps. Armor allows for players to take more damage, and also to heal faster. We couldn't get the weapon enhancement to work, since our assault rifle had no attachments to it, and using the weapon enhancement bare-handed threatened the stability of the build. All around, though, the suit really lends a lot to the experience, as players will learn to adapt on the fly both in single-player and multiplayer modes. Read more...
