Well, an official demo has been released and a lot of us played it. What game do you like more and what game will you play?

I hated the BF2142 demo, the gameplay was dull and uninspired.

Honestly, I won't know until the offical 2142 is released.

But, Battlefield 2 > 2142.

Yea, BF2 all the way. I've played the demo a few times, and it's pretty dull. I'm sure that it'll be 100% better than the demo when the full version comes out, but 100% of crap is just a lot more crap in my opinion.

Funny, I'll be holding on to BF2 for awhile yet. After finding out about the adware BS in 2142, I went back to EB and cancelled my pre-order. The guy at the counter said that they have had about 2 dozen people come in and cancel also. I have a felling that this is going to be another BFV all over.

I wasn't impressed when I played the Beta, the game play itself had a stale feel to it. Plus the trailers and other advertising features never seemed to interest me unlike pre-release of BF2.

Post the poll in Total Battlefield 2142. I think a lot of users left those forums after the release of the demo. And I haven't aborted my plans for not buying 2142. :)

Actually Battlefield Vietnam was pretty good.
I have them all except 2142(cause of spyware) and 3 i will have IF it comes out and dont have spyware.

I have come to the same conclusion

BF Vietnam and BF 2142 are just mods for the previous game engines

Sure even BFV had improved graphics in 2142 they havent even bothered with added graphics

they just seem to improve the Engine on each 2nd title BF2 buggy as hell BF2142 they improved the engine but in places still buggy,

i really cant be bothered to play 2142 because it just means you would have to go through that whole process of ranking again... and not to mention how ever many more patches and game modes people dont want.
