You can cloak with the suit as well, which I haven’t announced before but I will tell you now. You can go cloak and literally play Predator, and you be the Predator inside the jungle and that’s a hell of a good time. Then what you can do is wait, cloak, use strength, punch a tree, and kill a soldier. Out run the enemy and jump and punch him. This running and punching the enemy is so powerful, it’s one of the things where I don’t know how much power we give there. I’ve seen too many people sprint behind an enemy with speed and strength and punch.

Should make for some intresting game play.

so will this be like the cloak in 2142? Even if its different, I cant imagine how much fun it will be to use a cloak feature in a jungle atmosphere.

He said "preditor" so I am guessing its going to be like that, not like 2142.

If you read that whole article he also says that you can do some matrix like stuff.

He said you can switch your nano suit from speed to strength etc on the fly.

He said he was under water with speed, came out of the water like a dolphin, then switched to stregth, landed on a boat, and punched a dude and killed him.

Wow, matrix like stuff, coming out of the water and landing on a boat and killing someone? Thats crazy! Cant wait :)

Yes, the article is chock full of good stuff.

I wonder though if there will be hotkeys assigned for switching modes. The way it was shown before you brought up a transparant menu and then you selected the mode of the nanosuit.

Ya I would hope there will be some hot keys as well.

Its kinda hard to switch mid air with out them lol.

Man, I've been waiting for years for someone to do something like this, as in the Predator mode type thing on an open sandbox/free form terrain type environment. Not even AvP 1 or 2 could really fullfill my need to just want to hang out in a tree or hill and stalk someone to eventually kill them. I tried stuff like that in AvP1, waiting sometimes up to 9 min to make a melee kill (and collect his/it's head) with my fav weapon, the comb stick (and in that game, 9 min is a long time), with it only a few feet from my reach the whole time, only to have my kill stolen from by some disc chucking noob. Now I have a whole island to play on, WOOT. With my new job, Nov and Dec is gonna give me mad overtime to afford a new pc for games like this. I'm definately looking forward to Crysis

I just got done building it and I could not of picked more of a worse time.

Built it 2 months ago then core 2 duo came out, then I found out about DX10.

Blah, I do not care, I will play this game and it will look just like it does in those movies lol.

Sounds interesting, I see that they want to make a better MP than in Farcry, it wasn't bad at all, but nothing special.

FarCry was a great game but it could've been better online
